allegations against him and was not charged after a DOJ investigation.
This came after criticism of Gaetz, whom President-elect
Donald Trump recently nominated for Attorney General.
In his announcement,
Trump praised Gaetz as a tenacious lawyer committed
to reforming the DOJ and restoring public trust.
Gaetz’s controversial past and right-wing stance have sparked backlash,
including from The View panel. Hostin’s legal note served
as a reminder of the investigation’s outcome: no charges filed.
