Jerry Windle, a single gay man in the 1990s, never imagined he could become a father.

A few months later, he traveled to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and met 18-month-old Jordan,
a malnourished orphan suffering from severe infections.
Jerry adopted him, nursed him back to health,
and raised him with unconditional love and support.
Jordan grew into an exceptional athlete, starting diving at age seven and winning his first national junior championship by nine.
At the Tokyo Olympics,
he represented the United States, proudly carrying his Cambodian heritage with a tattoo of the Cambodian flag on his arm.
Although COVID restrictions kept Jerry from attending, he cheered Jordan on from afar.
Jordan credits his father’s sacrifices and unwavering support for his success, saying, “I dive purely for my dad.”
